Content for Brucon 0x04 aka BruCON 2012

Hello Friends,

Recently we received some questions (again) about the move to Ghent and if that would mean that BruCON would change it's name. That is certainly not the case. We could have avoided this by moving to Bruges (pretty city, a little far away from the airport) or even Brussegem (don't ask ;-)). The choice for Ghent was a concious one, based on budget and general feedback from our attendees.  It makes sense that  , in the US, you don't move NYcon to San Francisco, but in a country as small as Belgium and as a non-profit organisation we believe we can have our con in another city without compromising the 'brand'. We're pretty sure you agree with us :-)

Today, we're ready to announce our (almost) full list of talks and workshops !! We believe the CFP team did a tremendous job at scoring all the talks and we can assure you choices were tough this year.  Here goes :

Ed Skoudis - founder and senior security consultant with InGuardians
Katie Moussouris - Lead Security Community Outreach and Strategy team at Microsoft

Georgia Weidman - Introducing the Smartphone Penetration Testing Framework
Robert McArdle - HTML5 - A Whole New Attack Vector
Raul Siles - Security of National eID (smartcard-based) Web Applications
Andreas Bogk - Herding RATs
Josh Corman and Jericho - Anonymous: Implications and Inevitabilities of a Global Hacktivism Movement
Allison Miller - A Million Mousetraps: Using Big Data and Little Loops to Build Better Defenses
Mathy Vanhoef - New flaws in WPA-TKIP
Martin Gallo - Uncovering SAP vulnerabilities: dissecting and breaking the Diag protocol
Fernando Gont - Recent Advances in IPv6 Security
Gregory Pickett - pMap, the silent killer
Carlos Garcia - How I met your pointer (Hijacking client software for fuzz and profit)
Paul Marsh - Satellite Hacking
Chris Nickerson - Tactical Surveillance : Look at me now!
Mickey Shkatov - we have you by the gadgets
int0x80 (of Dual Core) - Moar Anti-Forensics for the Louise
(one final talk to be confirmed !!)
